The Code Blue Project a​nd the work of CSSH is considered an essential service. This mission, delivered by our volunteers, must continue through the pandemic. CSSH is constantly monitoring COVID-19 guidance from the CDC and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is working closely with the Bucks County Health Department to ensure safety precautions are in place - for our overnight guests and our volunteers.

CSSH Training provides required background and information on CSSH and the Code Blue Project. In addition to presenting information about roles on the Volunteer Team and what a night in the shelter looks like, the training includes vital information about changes in protocols and precautions being taken in response to COVID-19. To ensure that our volunteer team is well-trained, CSSH will conduct an in-person training in January, details to follow, as well as virtual training (see links below).
