Volunteer Training

CSSH is constantly monitoring COVID-19 guidance from the CDC and is working closely with the Bucks County Health Department to ensure safety precautions are in place - for our overnight guests and our volunteers.
To
safely ensure that our Volunteer Team is well-trained, CSSH is providing virtual training. Please access training below. If you have any training questions, please email Joanne Cochran at [email protected].

New Volunteers

1.  Print and follow the Volunteer Hub Tutorial to create your account.

2.  View the 2020-2021 CSSH Training (50 minutes).

3.  Complete the brief quiz.

4.  Complete your required paperwork and submit it to Cara at [email protected].

Returning Volunteers

1. Print and follow the Volunteer Hub Tutorial if you want a refresher about using your account.

2. View the 2020-2021 CSSH Training (50 minutes).

3. Complete the brief quiz.

4. Complete your required paperwork and submit it to Cara at [email protected].


Transportation Volunteers

1. Print and follow the Volunteer Hub Tutorial to create or for a refresher on how to use your account.

2. View the 2020-2021 CSSH Training (50 minutes).

3. Complete the brief quiz.

4. Complete your required paperwork and submit it to Cara at [email protected].

5.  Complete the Driver and Attendant Training and the Annual Driver Certification.

How to Use the Volunteer Hub

CSSH coordinates scheduling of the Volunteer Team through the Volunteer Hub. Every volunteer must create an account to access the calendar and sign up for shifts. Click HERE or on the image to the left to download a tutorial that you may print and use as a guide.

2020-2021 CSSH Training

The 2020-2021 CSSH Training provides required background and information on CSSH and the Code Blue Project. In addition to presenting information about roles on the Volunteer Team and what a night in the shelter looks like, the training includes vital information about changes in protocols and precautions being taken in response to COVID-19. 2020-2021 Driver and Attendant Training

The 2020-2021 Driver & Attendant Training prepares individual members of the Volunteer Team to support the transportation of guest to and from the emergency shelter during the Code Blue season. It explains precautions put into place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as what to do in other emergencies. After completing the 2020-2021 CSSH Training, please complete the Code Blue Training Quiz by clicking HERE or on the image to the right. Upon completion, information on how to process your background check will be sent to you.

Required Paperwork



If you are a new volunteer, please complete the paperwork in the left column below titled Volunteer Agreement. If you are a returning volunteer, please complete the paperwork in the right column below titled Volunteer Agreement Waiver. If you are planning to serve on the Transportation Team, please complete the paperwork in the center column below titled Driver Annual Certification in addition to either the new or returning volunteer paperwork.
